What is the difference between the Court of Appeals and the Circuit Court?

I know that the Supreme Court to reach a case must pass through the local court or the Court of Appeals or Circuit Court Am I right? I mean the federal judiciary through.

    Yeah, so a case just go through the district court. It’s always been like that and that’s the way that it no doubt will stay

    In the US Federal Court system, the Circuit Courts include both District Courts and Courts of Appeals. The Circuit Courts of Appeals hear appeals from the District Courts in that federal circuit.
